EDF Trading announces appointments within its European Power trading team
EDF Trading, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF S.A., is pleased to announce the following appointments to its European Power Trading desk:
- Chris Rowe has been appointed Head of Short Term Power Trading and, in the coming months, will relocate to London. Chris joined EDF Trading in 2007 and is currently based in Paris. He is responsible for asset optimisation, intraday and short term activities. Rowe joined EDF Trading from BNP Paribas where he was a European Power Trader. Rowe will report to Kim Lloyd, Head of European Power.
- Emeric De Vigan has been promoted to Senior Power Trader and will manage the Paris-based day ahead trading and optimisation activities currently undertaken by Chris Rowe. De Vigan joined EDF Trading in 2007. He will report to Chris Rowe.
- Julien Haure has been appointed Intraday Trading Manager and will assume responsibility for the intraday trading activity in Paris. Haure joined EDF Trading in 2005 and will also report to Chris Rowe.
- Wijnand Geytenbeek has joined EDF Trading as a Senior Power Trader. He joined on 23 June, is based in London and will report to Kim Lloyd, Head of European Power. Geytenbeek will be responsible for EDF Trading’s power activities in the Central and Eastern European region.
