EDF Trading began its Japanese power trading activities in July 2020, executing the first trade in October that year. Our Tokyo office was set up in 2021, and since then we have established a local presence, with our Japanese subsidiary, EDF Trading Japan, acquiring an electricity retail license in January 2022.
We are growing our team bringing a breadth of trading, commercial and analytical expertise to our Japanese power activities.
We will continue to develop our physical and financial power activities as the Japanese power market evolves.
